It features all seven traditional events: Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding. In addition, a local open team roping section, kid’s chicken race, businessmen’s stick horse race and rodeo entertainment acts are featured.
Tough Enough To Wear Pink night will be held on Friday night, July 18th. Money will be raised for the Susan G. Komen For A Cure.
The Lake Chelan Rodeo has been held in Lake Chelan since the late 1920s. It was originally held on or around the Fourth of July on the lakefront on the south end of what is now Don Morse Park. In 1954, the rodeo grounds were moved to their present location and rodeos have been held annually at that site for the past 52 years.
